PERSPECTIVES OF NATURE

The exhibition was implemented as part of the Erasmus+ programs "Stand by Me" and "The Final Countdown" of the 4th Primary School of Lamia, with the participation of students from the 9th Primary School of Lamia.

The spectrum of potential interpretations regarding the concept of nature, along with the connotation of the natural environment, is defined by a bipolar relationship. On the one end there is a nature distinct from humans, while on the other there is a nature which contains, is all-embracing, flows in a continuum and incorporates the human civilization.

Art emerges alongside with life; therefore it could not do other than to crystallize the points of this spectrum while at the same time is itself embedded in it.

The works made for this exhibition by the students do not answer to only one approximation of reality. They are fragmented pieces of an endeavor to interpret and understand the aesthetical interpretations of the multidimensional relationship between human and nature. Finally, they respond to the aims and objectives of the visual art course and the Erasmus + program of the 4th Municipal School of Lamia.
