Handmade prints

The flowers were created using makeshift stamps made of porous plastic and cardboard. The choice of the character of the flower shape was made after observing works by Andy Warhol (1928-1987), one of the representatives of Pop Art. Their form is sometimes clearly printed and sometimes fades, as it emerges from the printing process. In this way, the narrative of Warhol's works is approached, that of transience, repetition, and mass-produced production that is found in modern consumer society. The students certainly enjoyed the other dimension of the works, that of the joy of depicting pure forms, the creative process, and the engagement with the technique and the material.
