Η σύγχρονη καλλιτέχνιδα Laura Makabresku, έχοντας ως κύριο μέσο την φωτογραφία έχει παράξει αρκετές εικόνες που πραγματεύονται την ένωση δύο ανθρώπων υπό μία μελαγχολική ατμόσφαιρα. Στο συγκεκριμένο, αυτοβιογραφικό κατά την ίδια, έργο τα πρόσωπα έχουν αντικατασταθεί από άνθη ενώ τα χέρια του ζευγαριού ακουμπούν τρυφερά το ένα το άλλο και ταυτόχρονα είναι βουτηγμένα σε ένα πιάτο με νερό. Το ζευγάρι μοιάζει με έναν οργανισμό που τρέφεται από την ίδια πηγή και ανθίζει συντροφιά.

Οι μικροί μαθητές έχοντας κατανοήσει την συμβολική διάσταση των εικονιζόμενων λουλουδιών επιχείρησαν να συμπληρώσουν μέρος της εικόνας της Laura Makabresku ζωγραφίζοντας τα δικά τους άνθη.

The contemporary artist Laura Makabresku, who uses photography as her main medium, has produced several images that explore the union of two people in a melancholic atmosphere. In this particular work, which she describes as autobiographical, the faces are replaced by flowers, while the couple's hands are gently touching each other and are also immersed in a dish of water. The couple looks like a single organism that feeds from the same source and blooms together.

The young students, having understood the symbolic dimension of the depicted flowers, attempted to complete part of Laura Makabresku's image by painting their own flowers.
