Flower's prints 

The students attempted to print the shape of real tree leaves that they collected from the school's playground in free compositions and in combination with the printing of surfaces with different textures in order to create an additional materiality. Tools such as printing ink, printing paper, a printing press, etc. were used. The practice of printing natural objects is thoroughly discussed in the book: Impressions of Nature: A History of Nature Printing by Roderick Cave, published by the British Library, 2010.
